In 73 i think it was that Hank Williams Jr had his accident in Montana.
I recall seeing the movie about his life. When he was in hospital Hank
Jr said his Father come to him in a dream and told him to play what
ever Music he wanted.
I'm thinking that is about the time he wrote Family Tradition.
Hank Williams 3rd, He grew up as I think most of us have.
With drugs(pot) and alcohol easy to get. When I was growing
up you called most adult men Mister.IE: Mr Smith or Mr Jones.
In the 80's,90's even now I don't see much of that.
So when you go to a Hank lll show and he opens with WHATS UP
M.....F....ers, i think it is how he grew up.Guilt by Association.
It seems to me that most teen agers swear and most can curse a blue streak.
I haven't been lucky enough to see his live show.Only on
You Tube.I agree he sounds a lot like his Grand father. Hank's
music will never die.Thank you Hank lll.

I like Hank Williams jr. a lot.He had great songs in the 1970s and 80s.

I haven't heard Hank lll much, just way back with his dad on tv.I thought he looked and sounded like his grandpa.I always wondered why he didn't do more country music. It doesn't bother me if he cusses, I mean, everyone I know does that (self included).People like George Jones drank and was a cocaine user for yrs.that's not going to stop me from listening and liking his music. If Hank lll does this, it wouldn't stop me from listening to his music but, I don't like a lot of cussing in any music.I don't mind listening to his country music but, you just don't really hear it. To each his own, Im not trying to judge anyone. lol.

I love Hank Jr, he is a very talented musician, as well as a singer and songwriter.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Williams' repertoire of skills include guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, steel guitar, banjo, Dobro, piano, keyboards, harmonica, fiddle, and drums. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hank_Williams,_Jr.

Hank Jr had the fall on August 8th 1975,

I wouldnt be as much of a fan of Hank the 3rd, but respect his music, and know he will keep his dads and grandfathers kind of music alive, in his own way. Which is really good. I like that the 3 Hanks all had their own unique style of music.

I think if everyone always remembers the 3 Hanks we'll be alright.
