Who sang the song "Landslide" first, Stevie Nicks or The Dixie Chicks?

Stevie Nicks wrote the song herself and first sang it and recorded way back in 1975 on what's known as Fleetwood Mac's "white album" (has a white cover). If you like Fleetwood Mac, it's one of thier best. It has Stevie's other hit song "Rhiannon" on it.

The Dixie Chicks copied Stevie Nicks. She wrote that song probably before any of the Chicks were born.

Stevie Nicks wrote this song in 1973. She was not yet with Fleetwood Mac, sahe was however with Lindsey Buckingham. Stevie later joined Fleetwood Mac and recorded the song in 1995. Dixie Twits did a craptastic shameful cover of the song like so many other artists...in effect ruining it's beauty.

Yup,.. It was done before the Chix were born by Fleetwood Mac... But the Chix did it justice..... It comes out nicely with fiddles and a steel... They have so much talent.... But are such Bone Heads at times........ God Bless em. "Rebels, without a Clue".
