I'm asking all the country folk out there if they have ever heard of Little Jimmy Dickens.
If so have you ever heard of "Homer and Jethro"?

Yes and Yes!

When I think of Homer and Jethro I always think of that song that goes "I would've written you a letter but I couldn't spell ____(insert raspberry sound), and that's all I've got to say!"

EDIT:

"The Battle of Kookamonga" was also Homer and Jethro! As I recall it was a take-off on Johnny Horton's "Battle of New Orleans"

Heard of all 3, In fact I have this album, and a couple of Little Jimmy Dickens ones. Haven't dug them out in years. I wish K-Tel would reproduce that one on CD.
