I love this Waylon Jennings song, and I want to get more of his music, but I wanna make sure this is somewhat representative of the rest of his work first...

This song is from the album "waylon forever" which features songs done before Waylons death, but only were released a few months ago. His son Shooter & his band play the music, while Waylon sings. This song is a remake of "don't you think this outlaw bit's done got out of hand". Which is more up-tempo then the "outlaw sh*t" song. I love Waylon, and recommend anything done by him. The box set "nashville rebel" is a good place to start.

Waylon usually sings a bit more up tempo but I enjoyed listening to this - loved the photos of Waylon. Miss this great man.

if you hear waylon once you will always recognize his voice and love whatever he sings. he had a style that many try to emulate and the style of this song is indicative of waylon"s music
