Only person who comes to mind is Tammy Cochran, whose two older brothers, Shawn and Alan, were born with Cystic Fibrosis. Shawn passed away in 1980 at the age of 14 and Alan died in 1991 at the age of 23. Her 2001 hit, "Angels in Waiting" is a tribute to her brothers, and the video that accompanied it brought much needed awareness to the disease. Watch the video here:
