Only saw the video once a very long time ago (mid 90's) but i am pretty sure it was Hank Jr. He sings about how country music is changing, he also makes reference to Aaron Tippin and/or Alan Jackson in the song. I think Jackson even makes a cameo at the end the video. It would be great if someone out there can tell me the name of the song.

I don't know why I'm thinking Murder on Music Row.... that probably isn't right..It's sang by Alan and George Strait but references Hank Sr. ...not Jr. I'm brain storming though

Your question did remind me of "Murder On Music Row." That song is SO on message and still gives me the chills whenever I hear it. "Why they even tell the possum to pack up and go back home."
