hello i'm looking for some good country music to listen to. i'm talking about older, blues inspired, classic country music. stuff that sounds similar to johnny cash, crosby still and nash, the eagles, and certain rolling stones songs (dead flowers and far away eyes). i really don't know much about country music, but i wish to change that. i'm sure there's some great stuff out there.

System of the down is not country. But try skynrd, blackberry smoke, haggard. But my favorite country music musician is Brantley Gilbert! He's not old he's fairly new but not main stream. In my opinion he's the best out there and if you give him a shot you'll fall in love with him!
