Look for anything Roger Miller... such as Billy Bayou, Do-Wacka-Do, Chug-a-Lug, King of the Road, My Uncle Used to Love Me But She Died (yes, it's really the name of a song), and Whistle Stop (it's in the cartoon movie of Robin Hood)

The best ever is I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry by Hank Williams Sr... Another good Hank song is Lovesick Blues... But anything by Hank is a sure bet on a good song...

There's also no such thing as a bad song by Johnny Cash... Some of my favorites are Jackson, Folsom Prison Blues, Cocaine Blues, Ring of Fire, Get Rhythm, It Ain't Me Babe, The Ballad of Ira Hayes, Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down, and Man in Black...

You can also look for stuff by the Highwaymen (a group consisting of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willy Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson)... They had some good ones together... Like Highwaymen and (Ghost)Riders in the Sky...

Also anything by Willy and Waylon is good stuff...

Guy singers or girl singers? Hits or good album tracks?

I love Waylon and Johnny for starters, so...

Folsom Prison Blues

Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down

Rose in Paradise

Lukenbach Texas

Good Hearted Woman

Ain't livin' long like this

Willie Nelson...

Seven Spanish Angels

City of New Orleans

On the Road Again

Anything from Jerry Reed or Chet Atkins! Loretta Lynn and Barbara Mandrell! haha

Randy Travis has a lot of great stuff, even though he may not be as much of a throw back as you want...
