Who is the best between Hank Williams Sr--- Hank Jr --Hank III?

Depends on the music you want. I like Southern Rock type music so I like Hank Jr.

I have a lot of respect for Hank Sr as well.

As to Hank III I only heard the one song he did, never bought his CDs, and he sounded alright.

Hank, Sr. because he was really country. I mean, I also like Hank, Jr., but he sounds more southern rock to me. As for Hank III, his music that I've heard doesn't appeal to me...is Hank III labeled as country? I honestly have no idea if he is or not.

Hank Sr for me. His songs make you feel bad man but thats whats so good about him. I do like Hank Jr though especailly whiskey bent and hell bound and country state of mind to name a few but you cant beat the writing of his fathers of im so lonseome i could cry, your cheatin heart and so on. P.S. im only 20 and Hank Sr is one of my favs.

Hank Sr. I grew up hearing him, it seems like he's a part of my life. No matter how many times I hear one of his songs I'm always impressed by the heart and soul he put into it.

Hank Sr.Because he sang what he felt inside for all the world to hear,what a lot of us felt but could not express.He put his heart and soul on the line,it cost him a great deal,but he let it all out,in a way few can,or ever will be able to do.

I would choose Sr because I love classic and he is one of the greatest pioneers of country music but I choose Jr he is a real country born singer and he is not scared of showing it in songs like A Country Boy Can Survive
